I ended up bought the same item from Frys and I have been very satisfied with it so far. It's fast and quiet.

I'd like to share my ordeal with Amazon.com and maybe I can get some advices. I bought this item directly from Amazon store (not a affiliate store) and received a wrong item. Inside the correct HP box, I found an old Dell desktop without a mouse or keyboard. I returned the wrong item with Amazon-issued shipping label.

A week later I got an email from Amazon stating the I returned a wrong item. I called them twice to explain that they sent me a wrong item to begin with. On the 3rd email Amazon basically denied that they sent a wrong item and they are not going to change their mind. They're sending the wrong item back to me. I filed a complaint through BBB and Amazon replied the same thing. I filed another complaint through FTC.

This has been a nightmare experience to me. I think somebody stole the HP computer and put in a worthless old computer in Amazon or HP warehouse. Now they might think that I'm trying to scam them. That would be an insult. [...]
