Panasonic DVD-RAMs (LM-AF120LU5) Review

I bought these only because Panasonic said they were the only way to record a digital TV program. They were right, it recorded the programs just fine with no problems.

But....DVD-RAM can only be played on Panasonic or Samsung. They cannot be finalized so other players can read them. This makes very difficult unless you have two Panasonics in the house. Although it is better then not being able to record a digital broadcast at all, it is not the best solution. Someone needs to come up with the technology to record the digital programs on DVD-R/RW.

Panasonic makes a great product that accomplishes what it is designed to do. Although cost per DVD is high, they can be reused for over a 1000 recordings making them worth the cost.
